Enabling PCR robustness: 100% contamination-free PCR reagents
Conventional PCR reagents contain significant contaminations of DNA from the production strain, E. coli. In addition, some dNTP manufacturers use enzymatic nucleotide modification processes and even molecular-grade water can contain considerable amounts of residual microbial DNA. Based on a proprietary enzyme production and purification technologies Molzym has developed a 100% DNA-free Taq-polymerase. In addition, Molzym provides the complete range of 100% DNA-free PCR reagents (water, buffers, BSA, dNTPs) and a service for custom-based mastermix development and purification.
