Use of MolYsis DNA preparation for MRSA diagnosis
In a recent publication, Wellinghausen et al. showed in a clinical study that, using MolYsis human DNA removal kit for the isolation of pathogen DNA from large volumes of whole blood (1 to 5 ml), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) can be detected rapidly by a Real-Time PCR assay.
